Contact Finger Lakes Laser

Finger Lakes Laser is a small, owner-operated shop focused on quality custom laser engraving, laser cutting, fiber marking, and 3D printing. We have been 3D printing since 2015 and creating laser engraved, laser cut, and custom marked products since 2019.

Laser engraving is the core of our shop. We use a 100 watt CO2 laser, a 60 watt MOPA fiber laser, and 3D printing to help with custom gifts, drinkware, business engraving, customer-supplied items, production work, and precision metal marking.

Award-Winning Local Laser Engraving Shop

Finger Lakes Laser has earned local recognition for custom engraving, local gifts, business work, and small business growth. The shop has been recognized in FLX Finest every year since 2022, including three Gold awards, one Silver award, and one Bronze award.

Finger Lakes Laser was also recognized as a 2024 Seneca County Small Business of the Year honoree and has been featured by Finger Lakes Times, NYSBDC, and FingerLakes1.

Request a Custom Laser Engraving Quote

If you need a quote, send as much information as possible about your project. Clear details help us determine whether the item is a good fit, what process should be used, and what the project may require for setup, testing, timing, and pricing.

  • What item or product you need engraved, cut, marked, or made
  • Material type if known
  • Quantity needed
  • Photos of the item if customer-supplied
  • Artwork, logo, text, file, or design idea
  • Preferred size or engraving location
  • Deadline or event date
  • Whether the items are supplied by you or need to be sourced
  • Whether each item is the same or individually personalized
  • Pickup, local delivery, or shipping needs

Vector files such as SVG, AI, EPS, PDF, or DXF are preferred for logos, cut lines, and industrial marking layouts. High-resolution PNG or JPG files may work for some engraving projects. If you are not sure what file to send, send what you have and we can review it.

Customer-Supplied Items

Customer-supplied items are welcome when they are suitable for laser engraving. Not every material, coating, finish, or product engraves the same way, so please contact us before dropping off or shipping an item.

For customer-supplied items, send clear photos, material details, dimensions, quantity, and the artwork or text you want engraved. If the item is expensive, sentimental, discontinued, or difficult to replace, sample testing or a spare item may be recommended.

Business Orders, Bulk Orders, and Production Runs

Finger Lakes Laser can help with business engraving, bulk orders, large orders, repeat production, and production runs of any size when the project is a good fit. These orders may include branded drinkware, tags, plaques, signs, promotional items, employee gifts, customer appreciation gifts, QR code items, part marking, and serialized components.

For larger orders, consistency matters. We review the material, artwork, quantity, layout, deadline, and setup requirements before production. Depending on the project, sample engraving, layout approval, or first-article approval may be recommended before completing the full order.

Industrial Laser Part Marking Requests

For industrial laser part marking, include the material or alloy if known, quantity, mark size, mark location, text or data, drawing requirements, scanning requirements, serial number format, QR code or Data Matrix information, and deadline.

Finger Lakes Laser can review customer-supplied marking requirements, drawings, and specifications when provided and when the project is a good fit for our equipment. We do not claim third-party certification unless specifically stated in writing, so customers should confirm whether our process meets their internal, contractual, regulatory, or inspection requirements.
